The California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science (COSMOS) is a 4 week summer program given by the University of California system. It is hosted by 4 different schools, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, UC Irvine, and UC San Diego.

Participants enter into a single general topic, called a cluster, but then have some freedom to explore a more detailed area for their individual research.

More information about COSMOS can be found on their website.
