SIMR is an intensive 8-week internship program in which students work with Stanford faculty on a biological or medicine-related project. The program helps students understand what it is like to conduct research and work in a lab. Current juniors and seniors may apply.
Note: As of 2018, SIMR has changed its mission statement to focus on underrepresented and/or economically disadvantaged groups. However, it is perfectly fine to apply as someone not in one of those categories. To read to full mission statement, click on the link below.
